Apiary worked with C2 Architecture on this residential design project in Montgomery County, whereby a new home and garage will be sited on an old field clearing at the edge of mature woods near Sassamansville, Pennsylvania. The landscape mediates between the modern architecture and the rural scenery that surrounds the property, incorporating ornamental gardens with a rill and reflecting pond, an orchard and vegetable beds near to the house, and a network of paths and naturalistic plantings through the meadow and woodlands.
