Apiary Studio

When the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union underwent a rebranding campaign that resulted in a new name—Jovia—they opted to give the exterior of their headquarters in Westbury, NY a new look to reflect the bright side of banking and to coincide with the announcement of their new identity. Apiary Studio was brought on to create an outdoor employee garden and to re-envision the public entrance with a focus on sustainable landscape principles that incorporate resource conservation, habitat restoration, and beautification of the grounds using a plant palette reflective of Long Island’s endemic vegetation. In a break from the typical banking landscape, Apiary and Jovia sought to create a dynamic entrance that reflects Jovia’s commitment to sustainability and provides employees with a relaxing setting for outdoor breaks and meetings. We worked closely with emphas!s design to ensure that the landscape synchs with and reflects Jovia’s new digital and interior user experience.
